Directed by Krzysztof Kieslowski, ‘Dekalog’ is a Polish mini series released in 1989 consisting of ten one hour long episodes that use the Ten Commandments as story telling catalysts to explore the human condition by following the struggles and moral dilemmas various characters face throughout the series. Dekalog masterfully exposes and expresses many intrinsic qualities of the struggles we face regarding life, death, truth, hatred, love, and the passage of time in a highly sophisticated and universally humanistic manner that remains as one of the most critically acclaimed pieces of television of all time. 

This project took the form of an animated title card sequence that drew inspiration from promotional materials featuring a series of ten groups of ten black squares in various arrangements representative of both the Ten Commandments and the labyrinthine housing complexes common to working class people of this region. This resulted in a soviet style bitmap font that sequentially evolves during the animation progressively revealing the word mark.

Unlike it’s competitors, Happening is an open platform that allows any and all users to create, promote, and discover events across everyone using the app. It combines the best of both platforms like Facebook & Eventbrite, by being open ended and user focused with full functionality for purchasing access to more exclusive events. 

Happening promotes inclusivity and accessibility for everyone while creating a space for discovering events one normally wouldn’t encounter on any other platform. It allows small time promoters and start ups to stand on equal footing with other events.

Promoting social events, Happening operates as a simple social network that enables users to connect with new friends and gain access to private events.

Methalodica is a multimedia exploration of music across various contexts throughout the human experience. Consisting of four components, it explores our relationship to sound from humanistic, scientific and sensory perspectives to encompass the full range music has on our experiences.
